Karin Vermeer is an independent artist who has lived and worked in Rotterdam since 2002. After having worked as a freelance illustrator and decorator for several years, it was time to start making paintings and murals as an independent artist. Fashion and women’s portraits have always been her main interest, ever since she started looking at fashion magazines as a little girl.
